Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid from Berlin, Germany, with regular travel to customer sites across Europe and Asia

hirify.global is an early-stage AI startup building purpose-built automation tools for the sea and air freight industry.

What you will do

• Partner with logistics teams to understand operational workflows and translate requirements into system and product designs.
• Build AI-powered full-stack tools using TypeScript and Node.js in a live production environment.
• Integrate with enterprise systems, including ERP platforms, transport management systems, SFTP, event queues, and external APIs.
• Build reliable data pipelines for messy, unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Contribute to product direction and technical decisions alongside the founding engineering team.
• Own outcomes end-to-end from system design through deployment and iteration, including regular customer-site travel.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building full-stack applications or backend systems in production.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience designing and integrating enterprise systems such as ERPs, TMSs, and external APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, GCP, AWS, or similar cloud infrastructure tools.
• Experience building and scaling backend infrastructure and data pipelines from disparate sources.
• Ability and willingness to work hybrid from Berlin and travel regularly to customer sites across Europe and Asia.

Nice to have

• Experience with React or another modern frontend framework.
• Familiarity with GenAI or LLM architectures, including RAG, evaluations, or orchestration.
• Background in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
• Experience working in early-stage, high-autonomy environments.
