Senior Business Analyst (Mortgage Servicing)

What you will do

• Evaluate business processes to identify requirements, gaps, reporting risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support mortgage servicing year-end and regulatory reporting, including IRS Forms 1098 and 1099, statement reporting, corrections, reconciliations, and compliance activities.
• Support the design and implementation of IRIS-compliant year-end reporting processes.
• Analyze complex datasets and perform cross-platform reconciliation to validate reporting accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
• Investigate discrepancies and exceptions, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Define requirements and support solution design, testing, implementation, production validation, controls, procedures, and audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–8 years of directly related experience.
• Experience with mortgage servicing, year-end reporting, IRS information reporting, or comparable regulated reporting processes is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, problem-solving, business analysis, process mapping, testing, and implementation skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and analytical modeling.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, communicate complex concepts, and exercise sound judgment under regulatory deadlines.
