Production Supervisor (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States. Onsite night-shift production role. An unrestricted right to work in the United States is required.

hirify.global manufactures specialty chemicals and materials; this role supports the Advanced Materials Americas Division.

What you will do

• Direct, organize, and oversee day-to-day production activities on the night shift.
• Maintain compliance with production procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, schedules, and standard costs.
• Schedule overtime, maintain staffing continuity, and coordinate with supply chain, maintenance, wastewater, safety, and other plant departments.
• Supervise, train, evaluate, and develop production operators in manufacturing processes and wastewater activities.
• Complete production records, reports, logbooks, downtime information, payroll data, incident investigations, and equipment repair requests.
• Identify improvements to processing techniques, equipment utilization, manpower allocation, safety, housekeeping, and cost control.

Requirements

• Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent; one year of relevant experience may typically substitute for one year of formal education.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing facility.
• Experience leading chemical manufacturing operations with increasing responsibility.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, organization, teamwork, and safety leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• SAP experience.
• Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing plant or similar environment.
• First Aid, CPR, or AED certification.
