Weekend Shift Production Supervisor (HVAC Manufacturing)

Location: Byesville, Ohio, USA; on-site work required. Weekend shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 am–6:30 pm. Training is required on the first shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am–4:30 pm.

Heating & Cooling Products manufactures and distributes sheet metal HVAC products, including pipe, duct, and fittings, for residential, multifamily, and light commercial markets. The business operates across more than 25 states and Canada and is part of Smiths Group’s Flex-Tek Division.

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate all production activities during the weekend shift to meet production goals.
• Manage shift meetings, workstation assignments, rotations, paperwork, timecards, schedules, attendance, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Monitor productivity, staff performance, and production efficiency while coordinating smooth handoffs with other shift supervisors.
• Maintain quality control by adjusting operations to ensure products meet specifications.
• Lead, motivate, and provide continuous feedback to production employees.
• Enforce safety procedures, investigate and report incidents, and maintain a clean, safe manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience in a supervisory role, including experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control methods.
• Proficiency with computer systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Regular attendance, dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work the specified weekend schedule are required.
