Quality Control Inspector I

Location: Mount Juliet, Tennessee, United States. Onsite role with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Salary: $18.50–$26.75 per hour.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products against established quality standards.
• Use measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and specifications.
• Document inspection results, identify defects and deviations, and report non-conformities.
• Work with production or distribution teams on corrective actions and product disposition.
• Assess damaged inbound goods, repackage products, and support relabeling, rework, pedigree verification, and recall stock checks.
• Follow SOPs, quality systems, OSHA guidelines, and company procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math and computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret instructions, blueprints, and other documents.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot or cold environments while standing, walking, bending, twisting, and wearing PPE for prolonged periods.
• Ability to prioritize details and draw concise conclusions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of GMP, GDP, ISO, or 21 CFR 820 and 210–211 is required.

• Previous experience operating powered warehouse equipment.
