What you will do
- Convert commercial proposals into executable, end-to-end technical deployment plans for manufacturing plants.
- Define data capture points, sensors, PLC signals, hardware requirements, and integration needs.
- Coordinate timelines, risks, dependencies, integrators, suppliers, and plant teams.
- Analyze technical quotes, negotiate with providers, and optimize solutions for cost and precision.
- Validate installation quality, cycle times, signal accuracy, machine logic, and data integrity.
- Work with plant managers, supervisors, technicians, and operators to secure adoption and identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, engineering, production, or quality.
- Hands-on plant-floor experience; office-only experience is not suitable.
- Understanding of cycle times, line performance, Lean/Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and bottlenecks.
- Basic technical understanding of PLCs, digital and analog signals, and machine logic.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environments, and influence without formal authority.
- Strong communication skills across organizational levels, from operators to plant managers.
Nice to have
- Experience with machine automation, integration providers, or industrial instrumentation.
- Understanding of industrial installations, line drop-downs, cabling, and hardware mounting.
- Experience negotiating technical quotes and optimizing provider solutions.
