Director of Transformation & Strategy (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
• Translate business strategy into roadmaps, governance routines, milestones, KPIs, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead or support M&A integration, post-acquisition activities, carve-outs, Day 1/Day 100 readiness, and synergy tracking.
• Partner with the CEO and Executive Management team on strategic analyses, performance improvement, operating model decisions, and executive recommendations.
• Build performance dashboards, monitor risks and dependencies, and facilitate decision-making across Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Operations, Sales, Product, and other functions.
• Mobilize cross-functional teams and drive execution without direct reports through influence, accountability, and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

• University degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in senior leadership roles involving business transformation, post-acquisition integration, M&A, carve-outs, and strategic execution.
• Experience translating strategy into actionable roadmaps, governance structures, and measurable business outcomes.
• Experience managing projects with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Spanish and English fluency required.
• Availability for an initial one-year fixed-term assignment, with possible extension based on project duration and business needs.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or professional project management certification.
• Experience in financial services, payments, technology, or fintech.
• Previous strategy or management consulting experience.
