Network Engineer II (network infrastructure): Owns enterprise switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, and voice/telephony infrastructure across multiple oncology practice locations with an accent on network architecture, security, and vendor management. Focus on designing complex network changes, resolving major incidents as a Tier 3 authority, and integrating network and systems platforms while supporting site travel and on-call operations.

  • Serve as the Tier 3 escalation authority for major network incidents.
  • Evaluate network tools and vendors, manage ISP and telecom relationships, and mentor network engineers and administrators.
  • Represent networking in security reviews, audits, compliance work, and complex project deliveries.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and travel to practice sites as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; a relevant bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical writing, design communication, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel between practice sites and participate in on-call support.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Aruba switching and wireless, Palo Alto firewalls, Fortinet, Auvik, or ServiceNow.
