Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Remote, associated with Lagunilla de Heredia, Costa Rica; occasional in-person attendance at work-related events may be required

What you will do

• Manage network and infrastructure operations, resolving incidents and major outages to minimize business disruption.
• Maintain reliable services through upgrades, patching, configuration management, and operational support.
• Support and optimize office networking, wireless LAN, end-user connectivity, and enterprise network security.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, NAT/PAT, IPS/IDS, antivirus, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Develop automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions, and execute change, release, and rollback processes.
• Manage vendor escalations, collaborate with global teams, mentor support teams, and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of enterprise network engineering and operations experience in complex environments.
• 3+ years of experience with VPN technologies, including Cisco AnyConnect and Zero Trust solutions.
• 3+ years of experience supporting and optimizing enterprise wireless LAN environments.
• 2+ years of experience with SD-WAN deployment and support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT/PAT, VPN, enterprise firewalls, SD-WAN, ITIL, ITSM tools, and change management; strong English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Cloud networking experience with Azure or AWS.
• Certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, Aruba, or AWS/Azure Networking.
• Experience with automation, scripting, infrastructure-as-code, or mentoring technical teams.
