What you will do
- Manage large-scale network infrastructure across multiple datacenters using Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing protocols.
- Troubleshoot network systems, connectivity issues, and application response-time problems.
- Analyze packet captures with protocol analysis tools to investigate performance issues.
- Handle complex network operations escalated to the network team.
- Scale the network and implement new features supporting diverse applications and services.
- Identify and contribute to network automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of network engineering experience supporting large distributed infrastructure with enterprise-grade networking hardware.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPSec, SNMP, static and dynamic routing, LAG/LACP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking.
- Experience troubleshooting Layer 1 issues, including optical power levels and SFP specifications, plus STP, trunks, and VLANs.
- Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, network monitoring and management platforms, IP SLA, and ACLs.
- Strong practical experience with Unix-based operating systems.
- Upper-intermediate English required for communication in a multicultural environment.
