Network Director (Telecom)

Location: United States (Florida - Tampa); hybrid work arrangement

What you will do

• Develop network strategies and architecture aligned with organizational goals and future growth.
• Oversee the design, deployment, maintenance, availability, performance, and security of internal and customer-facing network services.
• Establish network engineering standards, design principles, change management practices, runbooks, and post-incident improvement processes.
• Lead and mentor Network Managers, engineers, and architects while setting objectives and conducting evaluations.
• Manage network vendors, OEMs, technology partners, contracts, service-level agreements, and the network budget.
• Optimize network resource usage, reduce costs, mitigate infrastructure risks, and evaluate emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Must work in or be based in the United States, Florida - Tampa, for the hybrid role.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of network engineering experience.
• 3–5 years of people management or senior leadership experience, including managing managers.
• Previous or current certification in CCIE, CCNA, JNCIA, JNCIE, JNCIP, or JNCIS is preferred.
