FAS Divisional Technology Partner (Social Science Division)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a hybrid schedule of 3–4 days in person. Remote work must be performed from a Harvard registered state.

What you will do

• Document technology needs across the Social Science Division and gather feedback on IT systems and services.
• Manage IT investment intake, demand planning, portfolio tradeoffs, resource capacity, and roadmap development.
• Partner with divisional leadership to align technology investments with academic and operational priorities.
• Represent divisional perspectives in FAS and university-wide enterprise applications and platform decisions.
• Triage escalations, diagnose technology, policy, and business-process issues, and coordinate resolution within budget.
• Communicate IT changes, build stakeholder consensus, and arrange or deliver training as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years of post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
• Ability to navigate stakeholders at all organizational levels and communicate with executives.
• Experience with strategic initiative and portfolio management, negotiation, influence, financial stewardship, and resource allocation.
• Facility with technology tools, platforms, and concepts, together with organizational change leadership experience.
