Senior Project Manager (Pharmaceutical EPCM)

Location: Hybrid, based at one of hirify.global’s UK offices in Birmingham, Manchester, or Edinburgh

What you will do

• Lead proposals, define project scope and execution strategies, and develop programmes and commercial approaches including EPCM delivery models.
• Manage safe, effective project delivery across the full lifecycle in line with governance, quality, and service delivery requirements.
• Develop and control project schedules, budgets, fee budgets, milestones, hours, and commercial targets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, sub-consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Manage contracts, change control, risks, project reporting, and commercial performance.
• Lead project close-out, handover, certification, lessons learned, final documentation, and mentoring across the Project Management Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proven experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary EPCM projects in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector.
• Strong knowledge of EPCM delivery incorporating validation requirements.
• Experience managing project budgets, man-hours, fees, commercial targets, and industry-standard project controls including Earned Value Analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, organisational, influencing, and commercial skills.
• Professional qualification or membership of a recognised project management body such as APM or PMI is highly desirable.
