Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js)

Location: Flexible remote work from France or Spain; hybrid setup

What you will do

• Support an Engineering team with transformation projects through a temporary freelance mission.
• Develop and deploy projects across the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Build and operate serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Design and orchestrate workflows while applying infrastructure as code.
• Write, discuss, and finalize RFCs with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Deliver product value while balancing business and technical trade-offs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and the broader JavaScript ecosystem.
• Experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, Step Functions, and workflow orchestration.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and deploying different types of projects.
• Knowledge of clean architecture, code quality, testing, monitoring, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices.
• Fluent English and the ability to work in a partially remote team from France or Spain.
