Senior Customer Service Representative (Packaging)

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Receive, process, track, and schedule customer orders through completion.
• Coordinate with sales, design, production, logistics, and other internal departments to ensure complete orders, on-time delivery, and accurate invoicing.
• Respond to customer inquiries about product availability, pricing, freight rates, allocations, specifications, quotations, samples, and delivery dates.
• Manage larger and more complex customer accounts, including order changes, complaints, billing adjustments, and escalations.
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile physical inventory with customer orders, forecasts, and just-in-time schedules.
• Maintain organized customer files and provide support to other representatives or the Customer Service Manager when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of customer service experience handling customer orders through an order entry system and building strong customer relationships.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, customer databases, and systems such as Ariba.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, active listening, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and work flexible hours or overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or college accounting coursework.
• Five years of experience in manufacturing, containerboard, or corrugated packaging.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or automated order entry systems.
