Senior Delivery Manager – IT & Fintech Systems (Fintech)

Location: Portugal, hybrid. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Build and maintain delivery plans covering priorities, capacity, risks, dependencies, milestones, and commitments.
• Coordinate Engineering, QA, Support, Infrastructure, Web, Backend, and Mobile teams across a distributed organization.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain accurate delivery tracking in Jira and Confluence.
• Coordinate releases, deployments, Go/No-Go decisions, post-release follow-up, and operational incident management.
• Lead root-cause analysis, preventive measures, platform operations, migrations, legacy support, and application decommissioning.
• Provide delivery reporting, escalate risks, challenge unrealistic commitments, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of experience in IT delivery management, technical project management, or a similar coordination role within software engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in delivery planning, risk mitigation, incident management, and production releases.
• Experience working in Agile environments and managing multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.
• Fluent French and Portuguese, plus professional-level English, are required.
