Internal Auditor (Healthcare)

Location: Louisville, KY area, United States; hybrid work-from-home arrangement with office attendance approximately 1–3 days per week

Salary: $65,000–$88,600 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan

What you will do

• Perform audit projects and consulting engagements according to established methodology and timelines.
• Prepare audit workpapers in line with Institute of Internal Auditors and departmental standards.
• Participate in audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Identify audit issues and root causes, recommend improvements, and support corrective action plans.
• Communicate audit and consulting results through written reports and presentations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• At least 2 years of audit experience.
• Experience documenting process walkthroughs and identifying controls.
• Experience leading meetings.
• Ability to work in the Louisville, KY area and attend the office approximately 1–3 days per week.

Nice to have

• CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CFE, or PMP certification.
• Advanced degree.
• Data analytics or business intelligence experience.
