Testing Solutions SME (Endotoxin Testing)

Location: Fully remote, with work permitted from any location with reliable internet access; East Coast preferred. Up to 50% national and regional travel required.

Salary: $142,200–$165,900 gross annual base salary, plus performance-related bonus.

What you will do

• Lead technical strategy for complex, high-value sales opportunities in partnership with Account Managers and Business Development Managers.
• Act as the technical authority for LAL-based endotoxin testing, supporting customer workshops, troubleshooting, demonstrations, proof-of-concept studies, and method transfers.
• Advise pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers on bacterial endotoxin testing, method validation, assay performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver advanced technical and application training for sales teams, distributors, and customers, while coaching commercial teams on technical positioning and objection handling.
• Investigate escalated technical and product-performance issues and develop sustainable root-cause solutions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Quality Assurance, Service, and Regulatory Affairs on product launches, technical documentation, customer feedback, and application development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related technical field; a Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
• Significant experience in technical services, field application support, technical sales, quality control, or a related technical role in the life sciences industry.
• Direct experience with bacterial endotoxin testing, LAL assays, rapid microbial testing, or pharmaceutical QC microbiology.
• Strong knowledge of GMP-regulated manufacturing, quality systems, method validation, assay qualification, data interpretation, laboratory investigations, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biologics, vaccine, cell and gene therapy, or medical device manufacturers.
• Ability to deliver technical presentations and training, manage multiple priorities, collaborate across scientific and commercial teams, and travel up to 50% nationally and regionally.
