Journeyworker Maintenance Mechanic - 1st Shift (Industrial Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, United States; first shift.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, and dismantle industrial production equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, electrical, CNC, PLC-controlled, and robotic systems.
• Perform precision maintenance and rebuilds on conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, presses, motors, servos, and rotating equipment.
• Support FANUC robotics cells, new equipment installations, line moves, process changes, and production-line commissioning with engineering teams.
• Manage preventive maintenance activities in Limble, document repairs and modifications, and maintain mechanical supplies and vendor relationships.
• Identify failure trends, recommend corrective actions, support continuous improvement, and mentor or train other employees.

Requirements

• Journeyman certification in Industrial Mechanics, Millwright, or an equivalent recognized trade qualification.
• At least 2 years of industrial, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems from low voltage through 480 volts and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot power and control systems and read electrical schematics, blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Ability to safely perform lockout/tagout, confined-space, hot-work, and elevated-work procedures.
• Must work onsite in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, complete employment eligibility verification, background checks, pre-employment testing, and required pulmonary function and respirator fit tests.

Nice to have

• Additional journeyman certification, leadership experience, or 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with Limble preventive maintenance programs, continuous pouring equipment, robotic welding, or E-Coat processing equipment.
• Knowledge of ladder logic, one-lines, machine documentation, and advanced industrial mechanical processes.
