Sourcing Analyst (MRO)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed location is Hamilton, Ohio

Salary: $66,477–$106,363 annually

What you will do

• Research, analyze, and evaluate marketplace data for vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Manage MRO supply chains, inventory strategies, and alternative supply chain strategies to maintain material availability and control total ownership costs.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, including terms, pricing, lead times, and performance metrics.
• Monitor supplier performance, develop corrective action plans, and support supplier development.
• Prepare and manage RFQ blankets, maintain purchasing database pricing and lead times, and identify product standardization opportunities.
• Coordinate supplier strategies with sales engineers and customer initiatives while facilitating negotiations and category strategy meetings.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in the U.S. or a Canadian college diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of related work experience required; 4 years preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with contract negotiation, supplier performance management, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, customer service, and ERP systems such as Citrix, MAPS, PassPort, or E-max.
• Ability to manage conflict, build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively, and foster cultural change.
