Senior Associate, Capital Activity - Private Equity/Private Markets

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid

Salary: CAD 72,000–CAD 105,600 per year

What you will do

• Prepare and process private markets capital calls, distributions, net activity allocations, and investor-level calculations.
• Review client instructions, fund documentation, limited partnership agreements, dates, approvals, and good-order requirements.
• Prepare allocation workings and record transactions in Investran, Yardi, Appian, or similar platforms.
• Generate investor notices and perform first-level quality checks across calculations, postings, supporting files, and deliverables.
• Monitor workflows, coordinate with internal teams, and escalate variances, incomplete instructions, approval delays, and SLA risks.
• Support new fund onboarding and mentor junior team members on procedures and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Three or more years of experience in private equity fund accounting, private markets operations, investor services, or fund administration.
• Experience with capital calls, distributions, investor notices, capital account activity, or investor-level allocation workings.
• Working knowledge of private markets fund structures, governing documents, limited partnership agreements, investor commitments, and service levels.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, reconciliations, structured templates, large data sets, and supporting workpapers.

• Experience with Investran, Yardi, Appian, or similar fund administration and workflow platforms.
