Senior Fund Accountant, Private Equity

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid

Salary: CAD 72,000–CAD 105,600 per year

What you will do

• Review private equity client financial data and load it into internal accounting systems.
• Set up, prepare, and review consolidations across investment structures using applicable consolidation rules.
• Process fund expense payments and book journal entries for cash payments and accruals.
• Prepare reconciliations for investments and cash, along with capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
• Calculate management fees and carried interest, prepare investor allocations, and assemble NAV packages and other client deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients, banks, auditors, and other third parties to complete deliverables.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in financial accounting, fund accounting, or audit.
• Private equity or private debt experience is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with Investran is an asset.
• CPA, ACCA, or CA qualification.
