What you will do

• Deliver cross-sector make-buy proposals for new Wilton products and technologies for Industrial Policy Meeting decisions.
• Contribute to hirify.global’s make strategy, including the distribution of competencies across company sites and make-where proposals.
• Co-develop supplier landscape strategies for glass and ceramic modules, optical modules, and mechatronic modules and parts.
• Map the supply base, involve suppliers early in development projects, and balance long-term supply capabilities with market requirements.
• Prevent strategic supplier lock-ins and scout new suppliers in collaboration with technology, operations, finance and legal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in technology.
• At least 4 years of experience as a technical designer or in a comparable technical role.
• Strong interest in advanced technology, stakeholder and relationship management, and deal making.
• Interest in how glass, ceramic, optical and mechatronic technologies affect customers and key suppliers.
• Must be legally authorized to access United States-controlled technology before starting work.
