Head of People & Culture

Location: Based in the Netherlands with at least 2 days per week in the Utrecht office; hybrid working is available, including working from home and abroad for 3–6 weeks per year.

Gross annual salary: €115,000–€130,000, including 8% holiday allowance, based on a 40-hour work week.

What you will do

• Own the people strategy end-to-end and translate it into a people roadmap.
• Lead the People & Culture function across Talent Acquisition, HR, Employee Experience, and People Operations through team leads.
• Build a high-performance culture while preserving hirify.global’s vibrant, informal, and positive working environment.
• Improve employee engagement and develop the learning and feedback culture.
• Make people decision-making more data-driven through stronger metrics and people analytics.
• Partner with the CEO and management team on company strategy, workforce planning, leadership quality, and departmental performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a People or HR leadership role, ideally including several years in an organization with 200+ employees.
• Recent experience working for a Netherlands-based company.
• Broad experience across talent acquisition, HR, employee experience, and people operations.
• Experience building high-performing teams and cultures, with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English required; Dutch is a plus.
• Based in the Netherlands, able to work from the Utrecht office at least 2 days per week, and holding a valid work permit or EU citizenship.

Hiring process

• On-site interviews in Utrecht with the CEO, CFO, CTO, HR team lead, and People & Culture team members.
