Director of HR, Americas

Location: On-site in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, with flexibility to work remotely one day per week. Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the Chelmsford, MA area. Up to 20% domestic and international travel is required.

Salary: Up to $300,000 OTE, including base salary, commission, and bonus.

What you will do

• Own people strategy across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America for a $1.5B business.
• Advise executives on workforce planning, organizational design, change initiatives, and people-related decisions.
• Strengthen talent attraction, development, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Build an inclusive, high-performing culture and manage complex employee relations.
• Lead compensation, benefits, recognition, HR compliance, HRIS integrity, and people analytics.
• Coach and develop a 20-person HR team while balancing global consistency with regional needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5+ years at the executive table.
• Multi-country experience and a track record of leading managers.
• Strong business acumen, judgment, coaching ability, emotional intelligence, resilience, cultural fluency, and executive presence.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• Expertise in data and people analytics, including benefits claims and utilization analysis.
• Ability to work on-site in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, with residence in or relocation to the area.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification.
• Self-funded health plan experience or a strong fully insured background.
• Technology or commercial industry experience.

• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills.
