Senior Information Security Infrastructure Engineer (Security Architecture)

Location: Spain

Salary: €67,000–€106,000 EUR per year base salary, with no variable compensation component.

hirify.global develops the Search AI Platform, combining search, AI, cloud, security, and observability capabilities to help organizations use structured and unstructured data at scale.

What you will do

• Build and maintain ingestion pipelines for cloud audit logs, identity and SaaS activity, endpoint data, and asset telemetry in hirify.globalsearch.
• Integrate third-party and cloud provider REST APIs, handling authentication, pagination, rate limits, concurrency, schema changes, and errors.
• Operate and maintain hirify.global Cloud on Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, capacity, shards, index lifecycle management, and cross-cluster search.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and hirify.globalsearch resources with Terraform, and deploy scheduled ingestion jobs with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Develop automation such as self-healing jobs, health checks, alerts, internal CLIs, and AI-assisted investigation and operations workflows.
• Monitor data quality, backfills, schema consistency, security data flow, reliability, and infrastructure costs.

Requirements

• Production experience operating hirify.global and hirify.globalsearch, including ingest pipelines, index templates, mappings, queries, cluster health, and upgrades.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads, scheduled jobs, Helm charts, and operators; ECK or hirify.globalsearch on Kubernetes experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing cloud and hirify.globalsearch resources with Terraform.
• Ability to read, write, and modify Python ingestion and automation scripts.
• Experience consuming REST APIs for data ingestion, including authentication, pagination, rate limiting, concurrency, and error handling.
• Eligibility to work in Department of Defense Impact Level 4 or above cloud service environments.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with cloud providers, preferably GCP, and audit or logging data.
• Knowledge of GitHub, pull-request workflows, GitHub Actions, and continuous integration.
• Knowledge of SOC operations and incident response workflows.
• Experience developing and using dashboard or visualization tools.
