Financial Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Bogota, Colombia; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for planning and control.
• Perform technical analysis of current and future financial performance.
• Prepare recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, operating forecasts, and future requirements.
• Conduct economic research on rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investment opportunities, and investment performance.
• Assess the impact of governmental requirements on financial operations.
• Use emerging technologies, including generative AI tools, to support everyday work.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor's or advanced degree.
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, or control functions.
• Experience conducting technical financial analysis and preparing financial recommendations.
• Experience with economic research, financial concepts, and financial models.
• Experience interpreting governmental requirements for financial operations.
• Ability to work in the Bogota office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree, or more than two years with an advanced degree.
• Experience analyzing acquisition activity and evaluating investment performance.
• Experience with rates of return, depreciation models, operating forecasts, and trended future requirements.
