Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Jefferson City, Tennessee, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $73,200–$117,800 per year

What you will do

• Lead one or two production areas or processes and provide daily support to manufacturing teams.
• Plan and facilitate work to meet production schedules, quality, housekeeping, and safety objectives.
• Coach team members, provide performance feedback, and support development in union and non-union environments.
• Enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards while maintaining a safe and productive production floor.
• Lead root-cause analyses, resolve process and product nonconformances, and implement improvements.
• Support maintenance, continuous improvement, value stream projects, standard work, and Kaizen events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with three or more years of manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to plan and organize projects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, moving machinery, temperature fluctuations, and physical demands including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Personal protective equipment must be worn when required.
