Thermoformer Operator I 2nd Shift

Location: St. Petersburg, Florida, United States. On-site manufacturing role on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift; overtime may be required.

Base compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and monitor thermoforming equipment using approved tooling, recipes, and production specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine, process, and product-quality issues through mechanical and process adjustments.
• Lead equipment changeovers and support efficient startups and validation activities.
• Conduct in-process inspections, maintain production documentation, and verify product quality.
• Support production schedules by minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment performance.
• Guide Assistant Operators and participate in 5S, ISO, GMP, SMED, sustainability, and preventive maintenance initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of machine setup, changeovers, process control, production schedules, and work instructions.
• Ability to inspect materials and finished products, identify appearance variations, and troubleshoot quality issues.
• Ability to safely perform physical manufacturing work, including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work the assigned shift schedule in an on-site manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with rigid plastic manufacturing and thermoforming equipment.
• Working knowledge of Kiefel and Zed thermoformers.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives.
