What you will do

• Generate and manage purchase orders while ensuring compliance with contracts and company policies.
• Monitor supplier confirmations, shipping schedules, deliveries, invoices, and quality issues.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory management, and transportation issue resolution.
• Manage supplier communication, qualification, onboarding, performance reviews, and scorecards.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms, analyze supplier performance, and support cost savings.
• Maintain purchasing and inventory data in ERP systems and collaborate with planning, production, engineering, quality, sales, finance, and logistics teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or a similar role.
• Negotiation, communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with supply chain management software, ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work indoors in a manufacturing facility and occasionally lift or move up to 55 pounds.

• Familiarity with manufacturing environments or the wire and cable industry.
