Warehouse Technician

What you will do

• Pick orders accurately using a smartphone-like device and motorized transport.
• Receive inbound shipments and audit and pack outbound orders.
• Complete daily 5S organization and cleaning tasks.
• Unload and load trucks with a forklift and move materials throughout the building.
• Follow safety procedures, standard work, and defined productivity requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and accurate counting and basic addition and multiplication skills.
• Ability to match product labels with visual information on a handheld device and use the device continuously during the shift.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, follow verbal and written instructions, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to repetitively lift more than 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to remain on your feet throughout an 8–10 hour shift and perform occasional bending and twisting.
• Ability to operate motorized equipment safely and work voluntary or mandatory overtime as business needs require.
