Inventory Control Technician

Location: Houston, TX manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Perform daily cycle counts of products and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate warehouse discrepancies and conduct quality audits of warehouse processes.
• Maintain clean and organized inventory locations.
• Use Microsoft operating systems, Avante ERP, Excel, and Word.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and occasional hand tools while performing frequent lifting, bending, and pulling.
• Communicate with supervisors, leadership, and internal and external customers, and provide support as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior inventory control experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and meet the physical demands of the role.
• Ability to work overtime and maintain a flexible schedule around manufacturing demand.
