Associate Formulations Scientist (HPLC)

Location: San Diego, California, USA; candidates should be within commuting distance of La Jolla, California. Onsite full-time schedule, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime.

Salary: USD 52,000–56,000 per year. Additional compensation information lists a range of USD 52,000–58,000.

What you will do

• Conduct quantitative analytical HPLC experiments and routine laboratory testing.
• Perform DSC, PXRD spectroscopy, solubility determinations, dissolution testing, and suspension processing.
• Follow laboratory procedures consistently and deliver timely, high-quality results.
• Recognize relevant technical issues and escalate them appropriately.
• Work independently and collaboratively while maintaining accurate scientific and organizational records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of quantitative analytical HPLC experience and related laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Self-motivation, adaptability, reliability, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
