Process Development Associate, Analytical Sciences: Synthetic and Bioconjugation Scale-Up (Bioconjugation)

Location: On-site in Tarrytown, New York, United States; full-time standard business hours with consistent laboratory presence required.

Salary: $70,300–$110,100 annually.

What you will do

• Perform hands-on analytical testing, method development, and characterization of bioconjugates and critical intermediate raw materials.
• Generate, analyze, and present high-quality analytical data to support data-driven drug-development decisions.
• Execute, establish, and transfer fit-for-purpose analytical methods with internal and external analytical groups.
• Communicate plans and results across cross-functional teams and document data in electronic laboratory notebook entries.
• Build workflows for standardized sample and data management while maintaining laboratory safety and compliance.
• Maintain equipment and workspace, plan laboratory resources, and troubleshoot equipment with vendor service engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant academic or industry laboratory experience with hands-on wet-lab work.
• Fundamental knowledge of synthetic molecules such as small molecules, PEG, peptides, or oligos, and/or protein analytical techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong attention to detail, documentation practices, initiative, and learning agility.
• Ability to work on-site in Tarrytown and support laboratory operations and analytical testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrophoresis, HPLC separation, or UV spectroscopy.
• Knowledge or experience with biological therapeutics, bioconjugates, or related modalities.
