Junior Software Developer (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain object-oriented software applications.
• Develop and support embedded software for sensor-based and data acquisition systems.
• Write maintainable code in C++, Python, Java, and C#.
• Integrate hardware components with software applications and analytics platforms.
• Design and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL databases and develop data processing, visualization, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, participate in code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Internship, academic project, or 0–2 years of software development experience.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, software design principles, relational databases, and SQL.
• Understanding of software testing, debugging, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one of C++, Python, Java, or C#.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Embedded systems, microcontroller, Arduino, or embedded sensing experience.
• Exposure to signal processing, data acquisition systems, analytics platforms, machine learning, or data visualization.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
