Cybersecurity Analyst - Tier 2 (AI)

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States; fixed 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule with no rotation.

What you will do

• Lead in-depth investigations of escalated security alerts from SIEM and other sources.
• Use AI-driven analytics and automation to improve threat detection, investigation enrichment, and incident-response decisions.
• Coordinate with threat intelligence teams, vendors, and stakeholders during security incidents.
• Advise clients on technical countermeasures and provide updates during active incidents.
• Maintain incident-response playbooks and processes while following escalation procedures and service levels.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education or certifications.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools, log analysis, and cyber threat investigations.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and their application in cybersecurity operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work fixed 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule with no rotation.

Nice to have

• Security+, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, or CISSP certification.
• Familiarity with NIST and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven cybersecurity tools.
• Commitment to continuous learning in emerging technologies such as AI.
