Analyst, Security Operations (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote

Annual salary: $125,000–$145,000, plus eligible bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Respond to and investigate phishing, malware detections, brand monitoring alerts, and other security events as a Tier 2 SOC analyst.
• Serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 analysts and maintain high-quality monitoring, investigation, and incident-handling processes.
• Support incident response containment and eradication activities, then lead remediation after containment.
• Document existing escalation and investigation procedures and create new procedures when required.
• Mentor junior analysts, support onboarding, and build relationships with Security and IT teams across subsidiary companies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a security operations center or similar environment, responding to security alerts and phishing reports.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, WAF, SOAR, or similar security tools.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices.
• Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in large, global, complex environments.
• Experience with a Security Operations Center or Managed Security Services Provider implementing and enhancing threat detection and response capabilities.
