Quality Operations Manager (A220 VSM) 2nd Shift

Location: On-site in Mobile, Alabama, United States; second shift

hirify.global operates a U.S. commercial aircraft manufacturing facility producing A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

What you will do

• Lead and develop A220 VSM Quality Inspection teams across multiple business units on the second shift.
• Direct operational quality activities, resolve quality escapes and non-conformances, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure inspections, production verification, hirify.global Quality Standards, TCCA-POA requirements, OSHA rules, and safety procedures are followed.
• Manage audits, customer concerns, workload planning, performance reporting, and communication between shifts.
• Lead continuous improvement, new station, customer inspection, aircraft version, and production-rate projects using AOS and QPS methods.
• Act as deputy for the Head of Quality VSM or Production Second Shift Manager and participate in crisis management and leadership activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing management, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in aerospace or an equivalent environment, with quality experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience; project and process management experience may be considered.
• Experience with aircraft manufacturing, quality management systems, problem resolution, non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and production-line methods.
• Knowledge of the hirify.global A220 Quality Management System, aircraft design and manufacturing rules, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
• Must be eligible to obtain U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

• Experience with hirify.global A220 quality networks and intercultural environments.
• Knowledge of hirify.global policies and processes, including NC Process and PV delegation.
• Strong presentation, communication, planning, organization, and practical problem-solving skills.
