Smart Contract Security Audit Intern (AI Audit)

Location: Remote in APAC or Hong Kong SAR

What you will do

• Review ERC-20, ERC-721, and other token-related smart contracts for common security risks.
• Explore AI, LLM, and agent technologies for automated smart contract vulnerability detection.
• Improve audit efficiency and vulnerability discovery coverage through AI-assisted tooling.
• Analyze the causes, types, and impacts of attacks on Web3 projects.
• Combine manual security analysis with AI techniques to improve audit processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or Cryptography; PhD Year 2 and Master’s Year 1 candidates are strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Solidity and a solid understanding of EVM internals and ERC standards, including ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-777.
• Familiarity with the Ethereum and BSC ecosystems.
• Ability to identify common smart contract vulnerability patterns and attack vectors.
• Understanding of DeFi and L1/L2 architectures is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI or LLMs for smart contract vulnerability detection.
• CTF or audit competition experience and a record of finding medium- or high-severity bugs.
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols such as Uniswap V2/V3 and AAVE.
• Proficiency in Rust or Go.
• Contributions to Web3 open-source projects or automated auditing tools.
