TL;DR
Security Engineer Manager (AI): Defining and operating a secure remote workspace, collaboration platform, zero-trust access platform, and identity systems with an accent on AI governance, data protection, and enterprise-scale security. Focus on building multi-cloud access infrastructure, enabling secure AI agents, leading offensive security and incident response, and developing multi-team engineering organizations.
Location: Asia; remote. Work involves leading distributed, fully remote teams across time zones.

What you will do
- Define the strategy and roadmap for a unified remote workspace covering collaboration, productivity tools, identity, and zero-trust access.
- Own enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms, including messaging, meetings, calendars, documents, secure mail, workflows, desktop clients, and mobile clients.
- Build open platforms and APIs for internal teams, partners, and bots.
- Lead global, multi-tenant, multi-cloud zero-trust access, SSO, IAM, service identity, authorization, and network segmentation.
- Enable AI assistants and agents with secure identity, delegated authorization, human-in-the-loop controls, and data protection.
- Lead engineering, product, and support leaders; recruit and develop talent; and establish organizational OKRs, evaluation standards, and career paths.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software or security engineering experience, including 5+ years leading multi-team organizations as a manager of managers.
- Experience building and operating large-scale enterprise collaboration, identity and access management, or zero-trust networking platforms.
- Deep expertise in zero-trust architecture, IAM, OAuth-based authorization, secrets management, encryption, offensive security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Strong technical depth across backend services, clients, and networking, with proficiency in Go, Java, or Python.
- Experience leading distributed, fully remote teams across time zones. Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience building enterprise products for internal teams and external partners.
- Background in real-time communication, audio/video, or end-to-end encrypted messaging.
- Experience building open platforms or developer ecosystems.
