Senior .NET Developer (Backend)

Location: Remote, Brazil

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
• Implement and evolve SOAP and REST APIs with versioning, security, and engineering best practices.
• Ensure service reliability through unit and integration testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Integrate multiple systems and services using appropriate software design patterns.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and apply emerging technologies to improve development and deployment quality.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with C#, ADO.NET, SQL Server, database design, and performance tuning.
• Experience implementing SOAP and RESTful services, including API versioning.
• Proficiency in XML serialization and deserialization, software design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Advanced English proficiency is required; all communication is in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
