Communications & Content Marketing Specialist - Contract

What you will do

• Lead the creation of announcements, press releases, newsletters, social posts, blogs, reports, web copy, and sales collateral.
• Develop campaign concepts, messaging, communication toolkits, and content calendars across multiple channels and brands.
• Manage and optimize social media strategy, including organic and paid approaches, employee participation guidelines, and brand voice consistency.
• Analyze campaign, sales, website, and social media data to measure impact and deliver actionable performance reports.
• Coordinate media requests, outreach, speaking opportunities, influencer and partner relationships, and PR initiatives.
• Update the corporate website and collaborate with internal teams on narratives, marketing campaigns, events, and seasonal forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing, with a portfolio of relevant work preferred.
• Proven experience writing press releases, speeches, articles, reports, web copy, and cross-platform social content.
• Knowledge of social platforms, content distribution, SEO, media monitoring tools, wire services, and Google Workspace.
• Experience managing WordPress sites, with skills in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, basic HTML, and UX/UI principles.
• Familiarity with AI tools and Answer Engine Optimization; bilingual French/English ability is an asset.
