C# Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States; candidates from California, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, or New York will not be considered.

What you will do

• Plan requirements, test strategies, software integration, deployment, maintenance, and technical support.
• Develop and support full-stack applications using C#, .NET, MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Build reusable solutions within Agile delivery processes and maintain production systems.
• Implement unit testing, test automation, modularization, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software engineering practices.
• Document software designs and collaborate with stakeholders and development colleagues.
• Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, daily stand-ups, and mentoring of junior developers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
• At least five years of professional software development experience using .NET technologies, with experience leading complex software initiatives and delivering enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another engineering or technical discipline, with the corresponding experience requirements.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, MVC, object-oriented programming, design patterns, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Git, CI/CD, unit testing, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Azure or AWS, infrastructure as code, web and API security, performance tuning, code reviews, and technical guidance.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI X12 medical claims, including 837, 834, and 277 transactions.
• Knowledge of microservices and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or Amazon EKS.
