C# Developer (.NET)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; candidates from California, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, or New York will not be considered.

What you will do

• Plan, design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, maintain, and support software systems and subsystems.
• Build full-stack solutions with C# and .NET, including backend applications, RESTful APIs, databases, and Entity Framework.
• Develop unit and automated tests, participate in test planning and execution, and support production deployments.
• Implement reusable software components and long-term solutions within Agile development frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development colleagues on requirements, technical solutions, documentation, and code reviews.
• Use Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud development tools.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
• Five or more years of professional software development experience using .NET technologies, with experience delivering complex and enterprise-level applications.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, MVC, object-oriented programming, design patterns, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms, version control, CI/CD, unit testing, Agile methodologies, DevOps, infrastructure as code, web application security, and performance optimization.
• A bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering, or another technical discipline, with the required experience level for the degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI X.12 medical claims, including 837, 834, and 277 transactions.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization with Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or Amazon EKS.
