TL;DR
Staff Software Engineer (C#/.NET): Building and scaling the backend services, APIs, and infrastructure powering a B2B live event ticketing marketplace with an accent on high-throughput systems, security, observability, and maintainability. Focus on designing system-level solutions, solving complex technical problems, reducing technical debt, and setting engineering standards across teams.

What you will do
- Own and evolve the technologies and processes powering the C# and .NET B2B marketplace.
- Design and implement scalable, secure solutions across business-critical backend services and APIs.
- Drive large-scale technical initiatives, reduce technical debt, and improve service maintainability.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams on system-level engineering decisions.
- Define engineering best practices for testing, service boundaries, code review, and observability.
- Guide engineers through complex technical problems and write high-quality code for critical systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
- Strong experience building and maintaining high-throughput backend services and APIs at scale.
- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, MSSQL Server, Datadog, Grafana, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and GitHub.
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS services.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of live ticket sales or experience in a fast-paced industry.
- Mentorship and leadership experience with onshore and offshore teams.
- Interest in developing engineers and shaping team culture.
