C# Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States; candidates from California, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York will not be considered. U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI).

Salary: $85,389–$116,975 per year

What you will do

• Plan requirements, testing, systems integration, deployment, maintenance, and technical support for software systems.
• Develop .NET back-end applications in C# using MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Build unit tests and CI/CD pipelines while applying test automation, modularization, and secure software engineering practices.
• Design reusable solutions within Agile development frameworks and support applications deployed to production.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development colleagues, participate in daily stand-ups, and document software designs and data flows.
• Use Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, and related development and infrastructure tools.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional software development experience using .NET technologies, with experience delivering complex enterprise applications and leading development initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, object-oriented programming, design patterns, MVC, APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, version control, CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure as code, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest, plus application security, performance tuning, code reviews, and technical guidance for junior developers.
• U.S. citizenship is required; eligibility for a Public Trust (MBI) is required.
• A bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or another technical discipline is required, with the stated experience level for the degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI X.12 medical claims, including 837, 834, and 277 transactions.
• Knowledge of microservices and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or Amazon EKS.
