C# Developer (.NET)

Location: 100% U.S.-based remote position; candidates from California, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, or New York will not be considered.

What you will do

• Plan requirements, testing, integration, deployment, maintenance, and technical support for software systems and subsystems.
• Develop and support full-stack applications with C#, .NET, .NET Core, MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Build reusable solutions within Agile development workflows and participate in daily stand-ups.
• Implement unit testing, test automation, modularization, code reviews, and application performance optimization.
• Use Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to develop, document, and deploy software.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development colleagues, mentor junior developers, and provide production support.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be eligible for or possess a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
• At least five years of professional software development experience using .NET technologies, with experience delivering complex enterprise applications and leading development initiatives.
• A bachelor's degree with eight or more years of experience, a master's degree with five or more years, or a Ph.D. with three or more years in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, .NET Core, MVC, object-oriented programming, design patterns, REST APIs, SQL Server, Entity Framework, cloud platforms, version control, CI/CD, and unit testing.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps and infrastructure as code, web and API security, performance tuning, code reviews, and technical mentoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI X.12 medical claims, including 837, 834, and 277 transactions.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, and Amazon EKS.
