Manager Enterprise Architecture (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the USA; travel to the Chattanooga, Tennessee headquarters is required for final interviews

What you will do

• Lead a team of Enterprise Architects across multiple architecture disciplines and support strategic planning and implementation.
• Develop short- and long-term technology strategies, roadmaps, goals, and objectives aligned with organizational priorities.
• Provide architectural leadership for technology strategy development, implementation, evaluation, and solution design.
• Define and advance the enterprise architecture maturity roadmap, governance practices, standards adoption, and continuous process improvement.
• Influence technology investment and product selection decisions while ensuring solution compliance with technology assurance standards.
• Manage multiple initiatives, communicate status and risks to senior leadership, and develop business-relevant architecture metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a computer science-related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in IT architecture or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience leading technical resources across diverse disciplines.
• Experience with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Ability to lead enterprise architects and consultants, manage multiple priorities, mentor staff, and enforce architecture standards.
• Agile mindset, knowledge of Agile methodologies, strong communication skills, analytical ability, and understanding of security concepts and controls.

Nice to have

• Healthcare data domain expertise, including claims, membership, authorizations, and care management datasets.
• Understanding of healthcare regulatory compliance, including HIPAA.
