Principal Information Security Architect (AI)

Location: Virtual, Ohio, United States

Salary: $96,500–$207,500 annual base salary, plus eligibility for incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Define, architect, implement, and support enterprise security technologies across data center and cloud environments.
• Advance the perimeter security program, endpoint protection capabilities, and Zero Trust architectural patterns.
• Define security architecture, governance standards, requirements, and reference patterns for AI-enabled applications and autonomous agents.
• Establish controls for agent identity, prompt-layer protection, tool-execution guardrails, observability, monitoring, and AI risk management.
• Conduct security research, threat modeling, and risk assessments, then advise Information Security and IT teams on remediation and implementation.
• Serve as a security consultant and architect on projects and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.
• Eight or more years of relevant IT experience, including at least six years in hands-on information security engineering or analyst roles.
• Experience supporting cloud, Linux, and Windows systems, with knowledge of virtualization and containerization.
• Understanding of distributed computing, application and data security, common vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
• Ability to communicate security concepts to management, business sponsors, IT sponsors, and technical teams.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• SANS, ISC2 CISSP, AWS, or other industry-standard certifications.
• Financial industry experience.
