hirify.global develops automotive products and technologies focused on zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion.
What you will do
Lead the technical development and integration of OBCM embedded software and controls from concept and requirements through implementation, validation, and production release.
Define software, controls, interfaces, verification methods, production acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability for OBCM functions.
Develop and guide AC/DC PFC, DC/DC conversion, voltage and current regulation, power-flow management, and bidirectional-operation control strategies.
Provide technical direction for control loops, state machines, PWM, modulation, sampling, protection, diagnostics, fault handling, and real-time behavior.
Integrate OBCM software with battery-management, high-voltage, charging, thermal-management, and supervisory-control systems while resolving cross-functional integration issues.
Lead root-cause analysis, verification, validation, automated testing, calibration support, technical planning, risk management, and resolution of critical product issues across SIL, HIL, bench, dyno, and vehicle environments; mentor engineers and evaluate emerging power-conversion technologies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Controls, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in OBC, OBCM, automotive power conversion, embedded controls software, or closely related technology.
Experience taking embedded software or controls from requirements through implementation, validation, and production release.
Strong hands-on experience with embedded C/C++ and real-time software development.
Working knowledge of AC/DC conversion, PFC, DC/DC conversion, voltage and current regulation, PWM, sampling, protection, and control-loop stability.
Ability to analyze software and controls behavior at controller, subsystem, and vehicle levels.
Experience with software and system requirements, interface definition, verification methods, and requirements-to-test traceability.
Strong system-level troubleshooting across software, controls, hardware, power stages, and vehicle interfaces.
Excellent technical communication, collaboration, problem-solving, independent decision-making, and ability to lead through influence in a complex cross-functional environment.
Nice to have
Master’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Controls, Automotive Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
